The Wrist Carry


A test of survival. This event has origins based on hunters being able to carry their game back to the village. Hunters had to develop endurance and strength in order to carry the game over a long distance.

How to Play?!

Participants sits on the floor. Stick carriers will place the stick in front of the participant. The participant will then position their wrist (right or left) in a hook position around the middle of the stick, and place the grip with other hand around the forearm. The participant’s wrist must remain free from obstruction. Participant's face or free hand cannot touch or be used as added support to the carrying hand. The legs should be in a cross-legged position or however the participant feels is an appropriate sitting position. Each participant will be given one (1) try to go the farthest distance.
